Amy is 21 years old and comes from Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. Today, she lives in Bratislava, where she is part of the Mezcalli team and brings the authentic flavours of Mexican cuisine to guests every day. She chose to start a new chapter of her life in Europe, driven by her passion for gastronomy, art, and discovering new places.
She enjoys exploring new countries, learning new things, painting, dancing, and stepping outside her comfort zone. Amy believes that every new experience helps her grow, not only as a chef but also as a person. Through these experiences, she continues to improve, develop her skills, and move closer to her dreams.
Although she enjoys her life in Slovakia, Mexico will always hold a special place in her heart. She misses its vibrant colours, unique flavours, warm-hearted people, and the everyday moments that make her home so special. These memories remind her where she comes from and inspire her to keep doing what she loves.
No matter where life takes her, she always carries her culture with her. She is proud of her roots and enjoys sharing a piece of Mexico with guests in Bratislava through authentic Mexican cuisine. Her heart will always belong to two places – the country where she is building her future and Mexico, the place she will always call home.
